If you were looking for a great drop test video, then you have landed at the right place. UAG, a case maker company has done the ultimate drop test for an iPhone 6 – they dropped it from space! Check out the videobelow which shows the iPhone 6 being dropped from space.
iPhone 6 Space Drop
There are lot’s of drop tests videosand more are being made but everyone has to outdo the other person. That is exactly what UAG tried to do in their drop test video.
They attached an iPhone 6 with the UAG case to a balloon, the balloon was rigged with two GoPro cameras, 1 GPS locator and a backup phone with GPS and active tracking installed.
The iPhone 6 attached with the balloon went to a height of 101,000 feet, survived temperatures of -79 F and wind speeds of over 70 mph.

Although the video is great but it still lacks a true drop test as the parachute kicked in to reduce the speed (terminal velocity) and the phone actually landed in the mud. But it still is a great drop test video.
After the impact the phone was turned on to see if it worked or not. Not surprisingly it did work.
