On Tuesday Tim Cook said in an earning call, that the company has sold over 1 billion iOS devices. For confirmation Cook also said that the billionth device was a 64 GB iPhone 6 plus in space gray, which was sold in none other than the headquarter itself in Cupertino.
The fun doesn’t end here, the company is going to launch its new Apple watch in April. Apple & developers alike, are expecting that the product will be loved by the customers. It was expected that Apple Watch will be sold to the general public in “early 2015″, but Apple has a different meaning when it comes to early.
From the holiday quarter report, Cook said, the company on average sold more than 34,000 iPhones ‘’every hour’’, 24 hours a day, every day of the quarter. Cook also added that the Apple had half a billion customers visits both Apple shops, online and physical. By the end of that period new iPhone 6 was sold in 130 countries.
